the Nobody Safari | not just an ordinary trip
For 14 days we drive our own 4x4s with rooftop tents across Namibia’s endless horizons - you share the adventure with a small circle of fellow travelers.
At the same time, we journey inward: stripping away roles, burdens and noise through daily reflections, simple practices, creative prompts and guided encounters with one of the roughest landscapes on earth and its incredible wildlife.
In the Nobody Safari, you are invited to rediscover who you are, before the world told you who to be.

The most dazzling starry skies.
The endless horizons.
The world’s oldest desert.
The magical wildlife of which
we are only humble visitors.
The silence. Namibia.
Forget being somebody.
Forget performing.
Forget becoming a “better” or
“different” version of yourself.
Become a Nobody.
This is the land where I once lived.
Where a piece of my soul is still buried
in the ancient sand.
Raw. Wild. Free.
Back to basic.
Back to the core.
Raw.
Wild.
Free.

Your Wild Life Guide
Meet Fré
Founder of Staging the Good, Fre is your Wild Life Guide on the Nobody Safari. Fre lived and worked in Namibia for years — as a theatre maker and teacher, and as a guide for camping journeys across the country. She knows the rugged land by heart: from the silence of Sossusvlei to the wildlife of Etosha.
With over 25 years of experience as a coach and trainer, Fre brings a style that is humorous, energetic and light when needed, and deep, relaxed yet razor-sharp when it matters. She now combines her two passions: guiding people into their inner landscape, and into the wild landscapes of Southern Africa.

Your Feel Good Guide
Meet Anna
Anna is the heart of care and delight on the Nobody Safari. She also lived in Namibia, where she and Fre first met in the 1990s. Ever since, she has returned again and again, bringing her love for the country — and her legendary skills in preparing a braai or a potjie stew under the stars.
Anna’s style is warm, practical and full of joy. She has a gift for making people feel at ease, creating moments of comfort and delight in the middle of the wilderness. With her, you are not only looked after — you are lovingly spoiled.

The inner journey - Your transformation
Nobody Safari is not just about where we go – it’s about who you become along the way.
This is a 14-day journey of slowing down, letting go, and reconnecting. The landscape is your mirror; the desert your teacher.
-
Morning reflections – journaling, meditation, and simple questions to start the day with awareness.
-
Nature assignments – playful yet profound exercises to discover who you are beyond your roles.
-
Rituals under the stars – symbolic acts of release and renewal in the vastness of the desert.
-
Evening circles – sharing stories, laughter, and connection, always without pressure.
-
Silence and solitude – moments to walk, rest, or simply breathe into the emptiness.
What we do
-
Clarity about the roles you play in daily life – and which ones you may want to leave behind.
-
The experience of being Nobody: free, present, connected to yourself and to life.
