At Staging the Good we mix theatre, music and moments of interaction,
creating shows that remind us why we as funky humans came here on planet earth in the first place.
we don't create a traditional play, and not a workshop either, but something in between.
We use everything theatre has to offer- music, lights, magic & imagination-
and combine it with deep audience interaction & practices.
Because we are not only here to perform: we are here to wake things up.

We address the deeper themes of life
The ones we are all struggling with. How to love? How to be free? How to deal with pain, or lead a more wildly exciting live?

We are breaking the fourth wall
Hello audience!
We create wild mixtures of theatre & workshop elements: to learn together, not to preach.

We always use the power of live music
Apart from all aspects of theatre, original live music & song always plays a central role in our shows. The freeway to our hearts!
Not passive viewing, but active participation.
Less about watching: more about waking up together.
This isn't just our show. It's our show.

From India to Appelscha, from South African townships to European stages: over the years our theatreshows have crossed many borders.
With young people from Israel & Palestine, as well as from Pakistan & India, we used theatre & music to see each other beyond the stories of fear.
We explored the key to great relationships in the Dutch musical piece Dr. Love, and told the stories of unseen gravediggers in Kenya.
We created the international show 'The Song in your head' with Zulu artists on the impact of HIV/AIDS, and created the musical play The Waterhole in Namibia, exploring human evolution with performers from five different countries.
All these journeys and many more, are made to remember what connects us all, and makes us wildly alive. So we can celebrate it!
